ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

As the Strategy Execution Manager, you drive strategic and operational alignment between all Wilton Sectors and the Business Lines. You lead strategic programs, continuous improvement projects, conceptualize and implement progressive change and transformation initiatives, including strategic partnership collaborations and managing staff operations for the Head of Wilton.

  • Drive definition and implementation of Wilton strategy.
  • Deployment at sector level (if support is required by sector heads).
  • Management of the underlying breakthrough activities (some in person, others only monitoring or through participation).
  • Communication (ensure each Wilton site leadership team member and others as needed are aware of the goals, activities and the results).
  • Own and organize: Site Leadership meetings, Offsite and other events, Wilton Review meetings as needed.
  • Streamline communication and information flow within the site through management of the communication and organization structures: Ensure ownership and responsibilities are clearly defined and maintained within the sector teams, Sector Level Meeting Charters, SharePoint (including the associated communities).
  • Assist with organizational assessments and facilitation of reorganizations within the site.
  • Drive overarching business processes such as long-term capabilities plans, strategic workforce planning, employer engagement surveys.
  • Identify process synergies and implement best practices.
  • Function as Chief of Staff to the Wilton management team.
  • Practice effective agenda management to maximize meeting times and calendar bandwidth.
  • Be the eyes and ears for leadership regarding site-wide topics, policies, or other global initiatives that impact Wilton.
  • Use skills in organization and collaboration to prioritize tasks, develop and challenge business cases with stakeholders, to reduce decision-making effort for the site leader.
  • With strong interpersonal skills, maintain strategic connections within the Wilton workforce.
  • Miscellaneous other Wilton activities (typically multiple ad-hoc during the year).

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's, Masters' or PhD or equivalent experience.
  • Min 5 years or more relevant experience in Management or Project Management within ASML.
  • Experience in the field of high-tech system development.
  • Outside ASML, 5-7years or more in the position of decision maker and program/change leader.
  • Familiar with staffing processes and quality initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in managing a difficult stakeholder landscape.
  • Candidate with 10 years experience from the top consulting firms preferred.

  • The Strategy Execution Manager is a new position within our Wilton organization. The Strategy Execution Manager reports to the Head of Wilton management team. She/He/They acts as a ‘right hand’ to the Head of Wilton.

Responsibilities:

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • May require travel dependent on business needs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Role within the Factory

Responsibilities:

  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Can work under deadlines.
  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
  • Must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule- twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week.
  • This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.
