Introduction

As a Supplier Quality Intern, you will be working closely with the Technical Team and our suppliers to test and evaluate processes used to refurbish used components and reintroduce them into the supply chain, thereby reducing the environmental impact of their product lifecycle.

Job Description

·You will work with our design team to develop a project plan, collect and analyze inspection data of reconditioned components, contribute to part specification and present an execution proposal.

·Evaluate methods applied to refurbish used components at supplier to meet specification

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Education and Experience

·Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering

·Technical skills, knowledge, and abilities to be gained in this assignment:

oFamiliarity with DOE, mFlow and FMEA concepts
