Introduction to the job

As a Web Developer / Data Service Operations Intern, you will work on dashboard improvements and single-sign-on authentication implementation to build secured web pages and present data to internal users.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment alongside local experienced engineers.
  • Work on Operational improvement projects – web dashboard
  • Single sign-on inheriting user privileges
  • Webpage updates and alerts
  • Display/publish Spotfire summary report using php code - log analysis heat map
  • Develop Grafana dashboard with data from InfluxDB and other databases
  • Develop webpage to display records from postgres database and additional content
  • Plot CPU usage, mem usage
  • Mark equipment upgrade dates
  • Display history of signature events

Education and experience

  • Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Junior Senior level of study.

Required technical skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • Experience with or working knowledge of some or all - Php, java script, AJAX, sql programming, Apache web server, Shell scripting
  • Experience with or working knowledge of Single-sign-on technologies – SAML, LDAP, OpenID, OAuth, etc. is a plus
  • Experience or knowledge of working with or developing dashboards.
  • Experience with or knowledge of relational databases.
