Introduction to the job

The sourcing & supply chain (S&SC) department plays an important role within ASML. The main responsibility is to ensure the complete supply chain of ASML from buying goods from our suppliers until the delivery of new complex high-tech machines at our customers. Within this supply chain the logistic service operations (LSO) department plays a crucial role to set up and maintain an infrastructure that ensures all shipments are delivered on time and within budget. On a yearly basis more than 200.000 shipments are organized across the globe, supported by an extended network of 50 warehouses and customs specialists.

To facilitate the standardization we have developed and are implementing an interface with our logistic service providers to connect our ERP system (SAP) with their warehouse management system (WMS).

We are looking for someone that will help to turn this challenge into a success. For an approximate period of 2 years, it is your job to implement the standardized processes into our warehouses and local organizations worldwide. You will do this together with an implementation team that will be organized per warehouse location. You will follow a standardized and structured framework that is developed to ensure efficient and transparent implementations.

  • Project lead for implementation of the standardized logistics processes
  • Ensure you stay within the triple constraints: resources, time and scope
  • Apply the defined standardized implementation framework
  • Apply logistical knowledge in your projects
