Role and responsibilities
Each person within EUV factory (EF) must be able to do his/her work in a safe working environment. To achieve this, the EF EHS team translates safety regulations and ASML policies to a workable and safe working environment for the EUV factory. The EF EHS team consists of members that all have specific Safety competencies, like for instance Laser safety, electrical safety, and gases. The EF EHS Team supports by ensuring compliancy to safety regulations, improving safety on the working place by means of safety inspections and coaching/explaining, monitoring and reporting safety improvement measures and learnings from incidents. The business partner, together with the safety expert group, connects closely to the factory management to help drive safety culture improvement and projects on safety related topics. These improvements are within the EUV factory, but often need to be aligned globally and cross-sectoral.
EF EHS team is responsible for a broad work package, consisting of safety related services such as SRA/FMEA participation, performing risk analyses, signing of work permits, creating toolboxes, and incident root cause investigations. The EHS team has strong ties with the global EHS organization. All activities are aiming to improve the safety culture, increase safety awareness and take measures to continuously support and advise the factory to reach the next level of safety.
The business partner closes gaps in knowledge between factory management and the safety competencies and helps resolve difficult issues. The business partner also acts as a role model in providing feedback to people on all layers of the organization on safety behavior. The business partner aligns with the other managers within the factory and EHS group the issues that really need to be addressed to improve safety. The group leader creates a safety roadmap and drives the activities on it.
Education and experience
·Minimally Bachelor (HBO) degree in Engineering, Safety or level with 5 years of relevant working experience.
·Dutch and English skilled both verbally and in writing.
·Proven industrial experience in multi-disciplinary safety projects.
·Is familiar with and has knowledge of Environment, Health, and Safety.
·Experience with leading a group of people is a plus. Experience with ASML or semiconductor industry is a plus.
