The department EUV Source Laser is responsible for delivering the specification, design, integration and validation of the (CO2) Laser system which is a key part of the EUV Source.
Role and responsibilities
As a drive laser controls integrator you are responsible for the validation of laser control specifications which are required to hit a tin droplet with 100 kHz hit rate at a laser power level of 25 kW. You will work in a fast paced and multi-disciplinary environment as part of a team in the drive laser controls Agile Release Train. As integrator you will take care for driving and execution of the right side of the V-model development cycle in which you qualify and validate the drive laser control to its design specifications as specified in EDS/SDS. In case specifications are not met, you will interact with a complex landscape of stakeholders in which you will present the root cause of the performance issues in a clear and concise manner.
You will be a member of the source laser integration group which is part of the development and engineering department. You will work according the Agile process in the integration controls wagon. Your main goal will be the validation of design specs for the laser control mechanism by defining and executing tests within an clean room lab environment. Examples of controls mechanisms are machine damage prevention and start-up mechanisms which requires the automatic processing of all kind of sensors.
·Design and own test logic plan (PERT).
·Define test plans and document these in Test Performance Specification (TPS).
·Analyze test results and document (TAR) and present the results and recommendations to large group of stakeholders.
·Hands-on execution of tests in cleanroom lab environment (Veldhoven, Ditzingen and San Diego).
·Close interfacing with supplier Trumpf to align on test content and release of Drive Laser Software.
·Secure all risks which need to be tested are known by organizing FMEA sessions.
·Technical expert for troubleshooting the Drive Laser Controls systems within field or factory (4th line expert support).
Test executions can take place at our suppliers and customers. Therefore you should be able to travel without restrictions to destinations within EU, US and Asia several times a year up to 20% of your time.
Education and experience
·MSc or PhD in a technical area, which is related to Controls Engineering and/or System Integration.
·3+ years of experience in a multi-disciplinary high-tech environment.
·Knowledge and understanding of controlling laser, physical and optical phenomena.
·Hands-on knowledge of the EUV source seed laser module and amplifier modules is preferable.
·Several years of experience within an integration environment is preferable.
