The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) organization is globally responsible for knowledge transfer and qualification of ASML infrastructure, installations, premises and operational licenses to secure and facilitate business.

Within these boundaries and under the guidance of the global CRE EHS organization, the CRE EHS WF team is committed to ensure and continuously improve EHS compliance, elevate and support contractor EHS performance, and act to guarantee business continuity.

Role and responsibilities

Under the responsibility of the CRE EHS Manager WF, the team will be made up of members with specific competencies in the areas of Sustainability, Environment, Health and Safety and Compliance.

You will bring safety and compliance challenges to the top in both senior and operational management and help anchor compliance as a key pillar of our strategy.You manage the CRE project EHS portfolio for ASML Connecticut sites and all US Field Service sites, and report to the CRE EHS Manager WF.The CRE project EHS portfolio consists of (but is not limited to):

  • Develop, maintain and manage ASML’s Contractor EHS Program for WF CRE organization, as well as US Field Offices, driving continuous EHS improvement.From daily project activities to securing ISO requirements (e.g. ISO 45001), a wide range of activities and processes that require continuous optimization through process changes;
  • Responsible for overseeing the CRE contractor EHS performance of ASML Connecticut and US Field Offices and ensuring that compliance to legislation is met.
  • Manage and maintain the Contractor EHS Management System for WF CRE organization, as well as US Field Offices;
  • Manage and maintain the Permit to Work program for WF CRE organization, as well as US Field Offices;
  • Serve as single point of contact to support and advise our Project Management organization and ensure project activities are conducted in a safe and responsible manner;
  • Establish, monitor, and report on CRE Contractor EHS KPIs;
  • Establish and align processes and procedures at operational level in accordance with local requirements, corporate requirements, US legislation, and ASML’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System;
  • Manage records, data, and reporting to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements;
    Support ASML’s continuous improvement in contractor safety culture and EHS performance through project and program auditing;
  • Manage service agreements and consultants working with the CRE organization on contractor EHS compliance projects or activities;
  • Support local CRE Project Management teams with EHS issues
  • Provide (or support) regulatory training as required;
  • Follow up of contractor EHS incidents via the ASML incident management process;
    Review EHS performance of contractors (Highwire) and implement corrective action plans to address deficiencies;
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure a safe working environment for ASML employees, visitors, and contractors and ensure rules and requirements are properly followed;
  • Align with relevant stakeholders internally and externally to secure the entire EHS landscape.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in construction safety, industrial safety, and/or safety consultant role.
  • Expertise in developing and auditing safety management systems.
  • Expert knowledge of US health and safety regulations relevant to construction industry.
