The Business Performance Reporting/Data Subject Matter is responsible for developing, maintaining and aligning the management information and reporting needs of CRE to provide these in a timely, correct and useful manner. All of this based on and executed within CRE’s strategic pillars (Safety, TCO, Flexibility, Business alignment, Wellbeing and Sustainability).

This position is to manage the data management landscape and enable data and management information that supports the CRE business processes. The Expert defines and assures processes and methodologies for data quality within CRE on a local and customer services level and continuous improves data management processes. All of this based on and executed within CRE’s strategic pillars (Safety, TCO, Flexibility, Business alignment, Wellbeing and Sustainability).

Further, the Business Performance Reporting/Data Subject Matter is part of the Data, Delivery & Supply Management team. The team is responsible for the supply chain management and the data management activities for CRE. The position is responsible for the reporting data, tooling and applications for CRE. He/she executes his/her role for both the CRE teams in Wilton and Customer Service teams of CRE U.S. wide. Role and responsibilities

  • Responsible to provide all necessary reports and analytics that supports the business objectives and management processes of CRE. Organize, structure and manage information and data and translate to valuable business information.
  • Together with stakeholders determine and define the type of (steering)information that is relevant to manage the CRE business processes and translate this to a reporting structure and information (content).
  • Give professional advice by connecting business objectives with available information and data bases and how to generate valuable business analysis and reports.
  • Execute professional business analysis in order to provide valuable business information, generating trends and signalize deviations. Act as the expertise counterpart for all recipients on information needs and interpretation.
  • Contribute to the CRE Master Data Management strategy (both master and transactional data) and manage the tactical (managerial and controlling) and operational (execution of data maintenance) processes.
  • Responsible for the processes and methodologies required to support data management within CRE, together with the Data Domain manager.
  • Design and manage the data creation and maintenance processes (lifecycle management) (create, change, delete, archive). Define standards and definitions for master data and meta data.
  • Define data rules and data dependencies and mapping & migration to ensure compatibility between ASML and suppliers.
  • Translate business process requirements into required data, contributing to effective maintenance, real estate, workplace management and services strategies for CRE.
  • Responsible to secure data quality worldwide through adherence to ASML data framework and governance (also by suppliers in the supply chain).
  • Owner of systems and databases in a particular field. Develop and maintain the specifications for systems/tooling, taking into account the purpose of systems, standardization, independency, ownership of data etc.
  • Design and maintain data owner policies (incl. supplier obligations regarding reporting, data quality etc.) and reference materials (such as blue prints).
  • As Product Owner, manage the backlog and DevOps team. Make sure the items on the backlog are clearly defined and explained to the development team, to the level they require to work on the item.
  • Define all work instructions (ARIS on L3, L4, L5), formats following BPM guidelines, BPM validation, for process modelling (for example SIPOC).
  • Ensure that there is an active process in place to monitor data quality against agreed definitions and guidelines. Initiate projects concerning data handling; cleansing, migration or execute as project lead.
  • Ensure documented PSA (Project Start Architecture) in ARIS. Create reports to monitor data quality. If applicable, design and maintain access policies for CRE in alignment with ASML policies.
  • Continuous improvement & project management: Initiate, perform and implement data improvement projects and programs as a project lead or senior user.
  • Maintain a network with peer experts in external companies, keeping knowledge of 3rd party data tooling up to date to achieve business objectives.
  • Supply chain management: Prepare, manage and maintain the supply chain data framework implementation plan and maintain an effective framework together with involved parties. Responsible for managing the supply chain, based on data framework principles to assure adherence to data quality requirements by suppliers. Manage the supply chain change requests and data framework adjustments requested/suggested by suppliers. Responsible to develop and maintain all necessary governance agreements, processes and procedures with suppliers in order to ensure compliancy.
  • Innovation: Connect and align with business stakeholders within CRE in order to generate improvements and innovations and support these by developing smart data solutions, systems, instruments and/or analytics. Solicited and unsolicited advice towards management about optimal management of data and information, either from the perspective of the total landscape or from a certain field of expertise.

Education and experience

  • BS is required in Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Management, Business Economics, Business Administration of related field. MS degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledgeable or training in Configuration Management
  • Master Data, Material related Master Data, Asset Master Data and BoM data. Master Data Governance, SAP Business Objects-Data Services/Information Steward
  • Experience in Planon/SCADA/iFix
  • People Change Management and Project Management
    Process/Procedure orientated (Aris: L3/L4/L5)
