Introduction to the job

Micron is going to adapt EUV technology on their advanced production node. Micron TW is playing an important role of industrialization and making profits. The EUV system equipment performance is critical for EUV technology adaption under HVM production environment.

Perform the leadership to define AVL performance improvement actions. Bridge the connection of system performance data between local CS, DE, MKT, and customer. The enablers of achieving AVL KPI’s are including driving structural solutions, adapting improvement packages, increasing local solving power, and reducing service cost.
The first challenge is enhancement of system availability performance at agreed contract level. The upcoming challenge is to deep dive into critical performance index (includes availability, reliability, defectivity, power, …, etc.) and driving for improvement plans.
In long term, the EUV technology needs to be more matured for productivity performance ramping. The bottleneck and breakdown need to be defined for further enhancement.

Role and responsibilities

The performance project lead is responsible for several KPI-driven projects supporting the daily activities. Execution and monitor mechanism until closure according objectives and deliverable.
Identify and Analyze structural issues via availability performance index, e.g. extreme long down, MTBI, Preventive maintenance.
HVM performance enhancement via EUV performance metric, e.g. defectivity (PWP & PRP), power, utilization, …, etc.
Rollout AVL performance improvement package according to roadmap. Optimize system availability by smart implementation planning
Drive the corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders (include customer) to achieve Micron’s AVL KPI’s
Collaborate with site operation owners to optimize machine schedule actions and reduce machine AVL loss for action implementation
Communicate clearly about project status with internal/external customers. Manage customer’s request and demand on those involved projects.

Education and experience

Master or Bachelor Degree in technical science (Physics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Chemistry, Process technology, Aerospace Engineering) or equivalent experience

Project management skill you are able to lead and provide input in technical discussion within internal and external stakeholders.
