Introduction – Job Mission

As an Optical Sensing Engineer, you will design, realize, and improvethe metrology functions and sensors, as well as other optical related modules on the ASML-HMI products.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Job Description

·Carrying out the design projectofdark field illumination for optical microscope on HMI test bench.

·Responsible for aiding research, design, development, test and qualification of the Optical modulessuch as wafer alignment design, optical sensors, Optical microscope, Laser optics, Optical metrology tools, etc.

·Improve the mechanical stability, thermal drifting, stray light etc. of optical modules to meet the requirement in the ASML-HMI system. Troubleshooting the Opto-mechanical relevant issue from the field and MFG.

·Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

·Ph.D. or Master in Optical / Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field of study

·Familiar with optical design software, such as Zemax or Code v, etc..

·Familiar with opt-mechanics design, including software/technical tools, such as NX or Solidworks,etc.

·Hands on experience in high accuracy optical alignments.

·Data analysis with excel, MATLAB or python, etc.

·Strong English communication skills – both written and oral, ability to influence.

The California base annual salary / hourly range for this role is currently $28.50 - $53. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
