[TW Pipeline] CSCM - Global Operations Center Data Engineer - Linkou/Taichung

Role and responsibilities

You will act as the Global Operations Center’s Data Engineering Technical expert. This involves acting as the point person between the Operations team and ASML’s central SAP IT and HANA Data Modelling teams in the Netherlands and India. As part of this role you will be required to gain an in-depth understanding of both the systems and processes our team uses for global sourcing and management and be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications for communication with these central IT teams.
Please note this is not a pure IT role. You will also spend a significant amount of time working as part of the operations team on day-to-day tasks.

To thrive in this job, you’ll need the following skills:

-Extensive technical experience in SAP R/3 or HANA, including in-depth knowledge of the database structure underpinning ECC
-Be able to map between fields in standard SAP or company-custom T-Codes andunderlying database tables and columns and vice versa
-Detailed knowledge of data modelling in HANA Studio and HANA Cloud, in particular the creation and optimization of Attribute, Analytic and Calculation views from a SAP data source
-Proactive, self-starter. Should be able to take the lead without being instructed
-Ability to diagnose technical issues and propose solutions, working independently with the relevant teams to see the solution through to implementation or where relevant, implementing it directly yourself
-Excellent English communication skills

Preferred
-ABAP programming knowledge
-Data Analysis and visualization using BI tools such as Tableau, Spotfire etc.
