Role and responsibilities

1 Ensure wage and payroll tax compliance in a large, multi-nation payroll in China
2 Execute payroll services for expatriate employees (Inbound and outbound)
3 Perform technical research and analysis on wage and payroll CN tax regulations
4 Provide employee/ internal customer support on payroll-related matters
5 Provide reports and business insight regarding payroll data to internal business partners
6 Provide payroll audit support to internal, external, and benefit plan auditors
7 Contribute to projects to improve the efficiency, control, and business analysis capabilities of the payroll department within a cross-functional environment
8 Execution of designated SOX and internal controls in Asian countries
9 Other duties, as assigned

To thrive in this job, you’ll need the following skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and writing)
  • Previous experience working in a HR environment with understanding of payroll, social benefit and tax
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service-oriented. Good interpersonal skill to answer employee questions
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required to work with different levels of business leadership, business users and functional teams.
