Introduction to the job

Are you challenged by the engineering of electrical infrastructure solutions for high-tech products? Do you want to contribute in finding the best electro-mechanical solutions for our EUV lithography machines and specifically the light source? With your talent and experience you can add value to our growing team by defining the electrical infrastructure architecture and being a technical leader of the team.

Role and responsibilities

Can you define the future?Together with about 40colleagues we are designing the electrical infrastructure for our EUV lithography Sources. Our team creates the electrical connections between all modules and racks of the EUV source basedon the requirements and needs of many other teams. We also deliver electrical cabinets to accommodate racks from other projects. We count on you to setup and align on requirements of our counterparts and guide the team to create the best technical solution. To do that, you need to align with many other people to find the best solution.

Typical activities on an average working day are:

  • Align with stakeholders in and outside of the team
  • Document the impact of a change, the requirements and how to validate them
  • Collaborate in a design team, set direction and steer on technical content
  • Challenge yourself and the team to improve the design
  • Be a technical leader for the team
  • Investigations in a multi-disciplinary team on the whole system layout

For such a big and complex machine you can’t do this alone. Together with your peers you are responsible for our design and technical roadmap. You work in a team that takes care of the design from requirements up to and including integration on the machine.

Education and experience

What is expected from you?
Your team player mentality is needed for finding the best solutions together with people in and outside of our team. The quality of your design deliverables is important for you, for ASML and our customers. You feel responsible for what you and the team deliver and have the ambition to continuously improve on this.

For doing your work you can rely on:

  • Bachelor or higher degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • Experience with electrical infrastructure, cable wiring and cable harnesses
  • Experience with cable regulations like NFPA and SEMI

Working at the cutting edge of technology, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. You’ll be part of a creative, dynamic work environment where you’ll collaborate with supportive colleagues. There is always space for creative and unique points of view. You’ll have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve complex challenges.
