Our new SSC Team Lead Re-Use / Reverse Warehousing & Logistics will contribute to our increasing Value Added Services department at the Central Re-Use Warehouse in Weert. Key activity is to lead and being the role model for our DHL operatives performing activities like Scrapping material; sorting and sending Lockings & Auxiliary material and Cleaning crates (Rework before Store). Furthermore we run several projects to increase output and make processes more (cost) efficient using LEAN principles as well as constantly reducing actual scrap and optimize re-use.

Role and responsibilities

Operational expertise:

  • Team lead for a group of DHL operatives in the VAS activities;
  • Lead by example for your team;
  • Be the coach for your team; challenge them to improve;
  • Act as back up for your colleague Team Lead;
  • Quality knowledge of ASML parts (e.G: cleaning regulations grade 4 versus grade 5).

Receiving and delivering materials:

  • Ensure thetimely arrival of materials in the ‘Inspection area/ VAS location’;
  • Ensure output in the right sequence, taking urgency request into account;
  • Process and solve disturbances as second line support;
  • Identify and communicate deviations both in number, 12nc, quality and purity and take action to get abnormalities resolved;
  • Correctly handle the return of defective, obsolete or good stock materials in a quick manner.

Administration:

  • Process administration of transactions, book materials to and from orders as well as to and from (storage) locations.
  • Report deviations and take corrective and preventive actions;
  • Sound knowledge of SAP and Cerberus.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Reflect on performance for yourself and your team;
  • Identify and address issues;
  • Reporting and communication: anticipate on issues and solve them in smooth collaboration with your ASML team members or your DHL team
  • Review and update processes;
  • Contribute to the improvement of material control, material planning and parameters by participating in improvement projects.

Education and experience

Due to the complexity of the position we are looking for candidates with at least a relevant Associate Degree. We are looking for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Relevant areas would be:

  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management;
  • Technological Economics;
  • Business Intelligence.

You will be working in a great and highly committed team and report to the Manager SSC OPS Re-use Reverse warehousing & Projects (Ruud Das).You will work closely with the following departments and organizations: DHL, S&SC Return for Re-use (R4R), S&SC Re-use Planning & scheduling. S&SC Ops Supply Chain Execution, S&SC CME & Supplier Quality Assurance, Logistical Service Organization, ASML suppliers and other re-use departments.
