Role and responsibilities
As an Electrical Architect at ASML you will become responsible for defining, realizing, managing and maintaining various electronics concepts and products. Herewith you are helping ASML to answer complex and evolving challenges, addressing global ASML specific and business critical processes to enable our fast growing workforce worldwide.
The concepts and products we mainly focus on are racks, cabinets, cables, PCBA and visualizing this into schematics.
The Architect within the Electronic Department (EL) is responsible for the following:
Contribute to the multidisciplinary roadmap; Interact intensively with colleagues from the software, opto-mechanics and mechatronics department
Define, document and maintain specifications of the electrical architecture. And challenge yourself and the team to improve the design
Perform trade-off studies to determine the preferred implementation scenario for new or changed functions and make sure to document the impact of a change, the requirements and how to validate them
Make work breakdown and planning for the various measurement electronics products
Contribute to analysis and solutions of reliable, manufacturable and serviceable electronics.
Transfer / exchange knowledge & manage expectations with all stakeholders involved; colleagues, co-developer, suppliers etc.
Guarantee design quality and compliance by knowledge, experience and usage of reviewing and risk reducing tools.
Education and experience
Master degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Multiple years of experience as architect and/or designer of electronic functions, including experience with working in multidisciplinary design teams to establish agreement on specifications.
