Secure work safety during operation at customer site.Be a contact window for ASML WW EHS & customer for safety relate topic.
As a new create position, we are looking for an safety engineer to drive and execute the tasks with enthusiastic.
Role and responsibilities
•Provide local hands-on safety support for EUV install, service and upgrade.
•To be the local contact and competence for EUV safety topics, questions and improvement
•Support local EUV local service management team and CS engineers by periodically review if all critical requirements for a safe way of working are in place (service mix, vessel entry, safety experts (H2, Electrical, Laser), trainings etc) and propose corrective/preventive actions if needed
•Support EHS specialist to follow-up EUV accidents, incidents and near misses in case structural solutions are needed, create AIR (ASML Issue Resolution) ticket for follow up.
•Safety Inspection during for EUV high risk operation
•Prepare safety supervision tasks in the fab teams which include PTW/SRB preparation
•Prepare for EUV Ramp (volume installation and service activity). Provide support to deploy all safety requirements needed for a safe EUV ramp.
•Drive and Monitor HC EUV safety KPI (include manager, FSE, TSE)
•Monitor and process each teams safety capability (i.e: H2 training, QEW qualification…etc) to meet service operation requirements
•Work with customer safety department to review and ensure hardware change or upgrade will meet safety requirement and follow customer safety rule (SMOC)
•Facilitates the safety escalation process: Chair and coordinate the local SRB (safety review board) meetings, and Escalate to CS worldwide SRB (if needed).
•Support CS management to ensure a safe way of working in the region at customer locations. This includes also all other ASML activities at the customer site like PM, trouble shooting, installation and upgrade projects.
Education and experience
MS degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or comparable.
1+ years of occupational safety and health related work experience.

2.10% Travel is needed as task based, on site at customer location is upon requested.
•As ASML Taiwan CS grows up, a new safety engineer is created for Hsinchu site.
•The safety engineer will report to HC site manager.
•Safety engineer will communicate/ align/ engage with Taiwan local EHS & ASML Worldwide CS EHS community very often.
