Introduction to the job

Within ASML the sector Customer Support (CS) is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations.
One of the departments in this sector is CS NPI EUV. The CS NPI EUV team prepares and manages the CS part of the execution of new system maintenance of new ASML machines at customer sites.

Role and responsibilities

•Manage system performance - Set annual setting of site KPI’s & delegate to fab management role
•Periodic report, with forecast, gap analyses and action plan to meet the targets (actions, due dates, owners)
•Check the requirements for preparation, execution, and qualificationof service meets pre-defined targets
•Skill up (internal) - Free up engineer for training & KT, OJT
•Skill up (external) - Free up engineer to do KT for customers
•Improvement - Review engineers’ SMT regularly for gap & improvement plan
•PPM (DAP) – Identify personal KPI’s andteam targets, Support & lead DAP process
•Coaching and mentoring – Regular 1 on 1 with team members and provide guidance
•Build up team – Set Vision, Mission and Values and share them with team members
•Recruitment- Identify profile for team to hire people
•Formal interaction between customer
•Planning
COI review, resource arrangement, part & tool preparation, schedule alignment.
•Issuehandling
Customer issue intake, communication for solutions not only for machine down but performance issue as well,follow up status update, post mortem
•Intimacy – customer temperature check, determine below water line, intake needs and initiate/trigger to ASML Performance review

•Execute Unscheduled and Scheduled Maintenance
•Implement complex upgrades
•CS Operational planning role

Education and experience

BS/MS major in Mechanical, Electrical/ Electro-optical, Controlling Engineering, Physics or other related fields

Fab experience in the Lithography area will be a plus
Experience or knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process is preferred
