Role and responsibilities

As a member of one our DevOps teams you ensure that the engineers have a stable and state-of-the-art environment that supports Continuous Integration/Continuous Development.

Some of the responsibilities include:
• Simplify daily work of an engineer through automation and industry standard infrastructure
• Simplifying development flow
• Introduce new environments like GitHub and provide support to the teams to use the new tools
• De-block the team from integration issues
• Implement DevOps using the new tools introduced in the company
• Improve the software integration, build and release process
• Part of System team enabling solution integration, end to end testing and system demos

Education and experience

Education
A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science/software engineering or equivalent.

Experience
You have:
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps activities, preferably in a large-scale organization
• Worked as a software developer/infrastructure engineer (software engineer: preferably in a Java or C/C++ environment/ infrastructure engineer: preferably in a linux environment.)
• Strong experience with Python for automation
• Experience with docker and kubernetes
• Worked in an Agile/scrum team
• Worked in a CI/CD driven organization
• Experience with cloud development
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience

•IT: delivers solutions that support ASML-wide non-product related business capabilities and provides pro-active direction on the overall IT solution landscape; safeguards the quality and continuous improvement of IT business processes.
