Then the Agile Release Train (ART) Architect– Data ART is the right position for you! The Data ART is part of the Machine Control & Infrastructure Department and covers the scope of two functional clusters (FC-029: Factory Automation and Factory Integration and FC-042: Lot Input
Data). The Data ART consists of around 100 Software Engineers.
Role and responsibilities
As a Data ART Train Architect, you:
- Are the technical counterpart of Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Chief Product Owner (CPO) in ART management and sparring partner for RTE and CPO in assessment of escalation & support requests, assessment of (program) items and creating execution scenarios.
- Own and maintain the architectural runway: You define, prioritize and program enablers based on Functional Cluster (FC) roadmaps and Functional Cluster Architect (FCA) and Function Owner (FO) input.
- Are responsible for feature-slicing of epics in co-operation with the product architects from all ASML business lines (DUV, EUV and Apps).
- First point of contact for technical ART related questions.
- Leading and representing the architecture team in the ART.
- Ensure commonality across roadmaps, manage technical debt and secure delivery quality.
The Train Architect is highly self-propelling and is an excellent stakeholder manager, both internally as well as to the broader Software Architecting community in ASML. You will also regularly interact with the ASML programs on product developments and occasionally with customers for specific topics on escalations
Education and experience
- PhD or Master in Computer Science, Software engineering, or equivalent.
