Job mission
The Metrology competence enables and implements control of the ASML system and its functions on nanometer levels of accuracy by means of mathematical modeling of the system and its functions. The products delivered are software packages. This competence connects multiple technical disciplines. You need to be able to have a broad system view when performing your job.
As a Metrology Expose Front Office Engineer, you are in the 4th line of escalation support of Installed Base products. In this role you are the linking pin between 3rd line support organizations and development teams. All of the RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Manufacturability, Serviceability) principles need to be met at best quality. You ensure good quality escalation intakes and have direct communication with many talented people across ASML, with the target of solving critical and other issues and contribute to the availability of our products.
Job profile
- Pull direct intakes with factory and field engineers;
- Good stakeholder management;
- Get deeper issue understanding and provide guidance;
- Perform high level issue analysis;
- Provide our customers with findings and solutions to help with the smooth install and service of our systems;
- Influence development teams on design and diagnostic improvements;
- Secure the findings and close the feedback loop between development and factory/field engineers;
- Explore on-site travelling opportunities to get closer to the customer, connect with local teams and help with issues directly in the source.
Education and experience
M.Sc. in Engineering, Industrialization or Physics
(A plus if candidates are familiar with Industrial/Production engineering, Customer Service or other troubleshooting)
A Bachelor is okay if combined with ASML experience.
2+ years of experience as Manufacturing/Service engineer of complex products. A plus if there is experience involving Software calibrations and qualifications.
