IT Business Process Analyst - SAP Master Data/MDG

Introduction to the job

Our goal as ASML IT MDM DevOps team is to provide our business stakeholders with high quality data management solutions, in order to improve their data quality and throughput times, and to best support the execution of their business processes.

We want our data quality solutions to help the business successfully achieve their strategic objectives and successfully deliver programs such as the ONE program. We aim to deliver and support those solutions through high quality processes, in close cooperation with the business stakeholders.

Role and responsibilities

The IT Business Process Analyst - SAP Master Data/MDG is accountable for the delivery and support of IT solutions for Master Data Management within ASML. You will be joining projects that are part of the program that is designing and implementing the future processes and tooling in the area of Master Data Management, mainly focused on SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) in the Material master data area.

Tasks:

• Assess, change and refine requirements for master data governance and related information systems to continuously increase their effectiveness and ensure they are properly aligned with the company’s strategic direction, the master data strategy and the other relevant business functions.
• Work proactively with business stakeholders, other MDM BPA’s/consultants and MDG developers to ensure accurate delivery of new or changed applications in the SAP MDG landscape, according to guidelines and best practices.
• Act as a subject matter expert within the ICT organization for related (material) master data governance activities (SAP MDG, Information Steward, Data Services).
• Responsible for continuous alignment with the core ERP systems, the enterprise data warehouse and other reporting departments or applications with regards to master data.
• Deploy the newly developed SAP MDG functionality, including supporting integration & user acceptance testing and providing training to (key) users.
• Support key users in correct usage of the MDG application and troubleshooting/resolving of issues.

Education and experience

• You have a Bachelor's degree in the field of IT or Technology;
• You have at least 7 years of relevant project experience in a master data expert role;
• You’re an expert in working with SAP MDG for Materials (this is a must);
• You have a good understanding of standard SAP ECC processes and the role of master data within those processes;
• You have experience with large (master) data implementations and migrations.
