Introduction to the job

Optimization of lithography process and patterning strategy to help development of today’s process technology is important.Prediction of future lithographic performances is applicable even before the next generation exposure tool is ready.Both of the optimization and prediction require image and process simulations, which are the core competences of the job vacancy.

Role and responsibilities

Suggest a preferable image solution for critical layers driven by foundry customers.
Evaluate critical layers that can be superiorly printed by high-NA in terms of image performances and cost.
Build and compare patterning process flows.

Optimization of lithographic image systems especially for EUV
Comparing different patterning process options
Assessment of various resolution enhancement technologies
Emulation of patterning processes

Education and experience

Master/PhD

5-10 years’ experience on lithographic modeling/simulation, OPC/computational lithography, optical programming, lithography-related process emulation

Lithographic simulation with commercial tools such as Hyperlith,Prolith, S-Litho, Tachyon SMO
Scripting/programming language such as Matlab, python, C
Data analysis and statistics

Technology department center, TDC, is assigned to work with our customers’ RD departments locally to help process development related work.TDC supports the customers on image optimization and simulation for future nodes, meanwhile TDC delivers customers’ future requirements to system engineering teams.The job holder needs to own a communication skill not only among external customers but also internal customers.

Overseas business travels are needed to fulfill part of the job mission.Frequent discussions are expected in the partner groups.
