Are you an experienced Train and/or Execution Architect with ambitions, to realize with us our ASML Analytics Application Platform? You have a vast experience in performant modern web-based, big data architectures? You like to work on next generation analytics solutions, with a variety of operational and on-product functional data? Would you like to work cross-sector and/or cross-business line and bridge gaps? Role and responsibilities

Your role is to be the Train and Execution Architect of 14+ teams and enable delivery from a mature development structure / SAFe Agile Release Train of approximately 150 developers and leads. Herein realizing the customer’s needs according to their functional and non-functional requirements.

Job description
The Train and Execution Architect works and collaborates with the RTE, Architect and PO SAFe roles as well as PCM and Line management to deliver items that create the most value for ASML in a timely and predictable fashion.

Responsibilities:

•Realizes requirements related to scope by modelling, technical budgeting and balancing across requirements and risks.
•Takes technical leadership of the integration for related scope, guards the integration concepts for the scope.
•Provides transparency by reporting the technical status of the architectural epics and features, verifies if definition of done has been met.
•Ensures technical consistency/commonality across platforms on requirements, designs, and motivation for design differences between (versions of) platforms.
•Drives the realization of the required compute performance versus cost balance of the framework
•Define and manage sub-budgets for compute resources and performance (durations)
•Drive the measurements, analysis, reporting and improvement proposals, together with an engineering team of experts/liaisons from the different components/competences.
•Maintain overview of applicant requirements
•Provide the input to the platform level cluster configuration process, in terms of the scaling model and parameter values to use.

Education and experience

•Master or higher degree in technical / Information management / business Informatics area.
•Knowledge and experience on web-based SW platforms and Big Data Processing / Analytics applications
•Performance profiling and optimization of the above
•State of the art tooling on this subject, and existing frameworks on digital platforms
•Programming languages and 3rd party frameworks: Spark, Java, TypeScript/React
•Knowledge and experience of ASML (products) is preferred
