Pilot Project Leader

Role and responsibilities

Introduce the new technology on source and scanner on the first pilot systems and manage overall system progress on both source & scanner through progress coordinators towards committed delivery date. Aligning multiple stakeholders on a daily base to secure the shortest path to a fully qualified system and supporting a fast learning curve within the organization to get the Cycle Time back on track within 5 iterations. Using daily work-preparation on all 6x=X items with Team --> 6x=X PL, lead engineer, logistics etc,including upgrades for the total system

Reporting: Being the interface towards management and supporting sectors.
Overall System progress and planning to EF management as part of the natural team. Report on bottlenecks (e.g. safety, progress, quality, process, capacity, skills) &Quality indicators (audits) for proto rebuilds.

Responsible for in time escalation to FLS, MH, PP, MQ,2nd line, GL & D&E (integration PL & PCM level if needed) and participate in defining solutions for NPI related problems which occur on the road. Adhering to ASML quality standards without hampering shipment.
Optimize machine planning by chasing problem owners, removing obstacles, optimize sequence, and escalate bottlenecks to appropriate stakeholders. Always guaranteeing safety & quality in your way of working. Communicate status and planning to internal and external customers.

Start a systemas a project using PM methodology. Securing shipment by creating andmanaging detailed plan based on milestone’s in close corporation withstakeholders cross sectorly. Manage machineprogress both scanner and source to ensure customer committed output date,with the ASML safety & quality standard. Drive dailywork-prep with a 4 day horizon on all 6x = X items with the natural teamincluding upgrades (source, system and facilities). Daily report in09:00 o’çlock meeting to Integration team to request for help. Direct reportsto Operations management in Daily Kaizen T2 progress meeting. Communicationwith regard to system progress / Business sense to program management andEF Staff. Responsible forin time escalation to FLS, MH, PP, MQ,2nd line & D&E. Management andthe correct use of production resources within shift model;
Configuration:Ensure up to date administration to secure 100% configuration control @shipment
Quality: Assuresystem quality. Demand quantity and quality of delivered work on machines.
Customer: Leadcommunication about system progress and planning to account support &product marketing; Contribute to account support - managing customercommitments;
Initiating newimprovements both for technical & process related issues and ensuringfollow-up on improvement loop;
Maintain andimprove the way of working on daily production plan execution andreporting, improvement methodology, support, training etc.

Education and experience

Bachelor or Master degree (BSc or MSc) on specific technical area.

Good knowledge and understanding of ASML’s technically complex products and processes.
At least 3-5 years of ASML experience.
