Introduction to the job

Jobholder supports the NPR Procurement activities for ASML Taiwan, with high integrity. The main focus is to sustain business growth and achieve commercial goals, which are aligned within ASML HQ Sourcing organization and ASML key stakeholders worldwide. NPR stands for Non-Product-Related scope.

The responsibility will be in wide range, across all the global and local categories (e.g. professional services, facility management, design outsourcing, travel, logistics, IT, etc.). He or she represents the NPR organization and helps assuring the realization of strategic, tactical and operational goals from the procurement category management. Also, well connection to both local and global stakeholders is essential to drive clear demand requirements and achieve common goals.

Role and responsibilities

1. Enhancement of NPR Taiwan Procurement performance in various supply markets in Taiwan.
a. Drive the realization of strategic, tactical and operational NPR goals in the dynamic Semiconductor market in Taiwan
b. Make sure the local practices with compliance to ASML NPR Policy.
c. Achieve the agreed NPR Dashboard (KPI) with full personal commitment

2. Category Management / Supplier Relationship Management
a. Co-develop and supports the implementation and roll-out of the category strategies on local spend
b. Execute strategies of global spend (Logistics / IT / Installation Service, etc.) and share market intelligence / lesson learnt to reinforce strategy
formulation continuously with Category Managers.
c. Safeguard supplier boarding process and build long term relationships with suppliers by using supplier management framework (QBR, Account
Plan, etc.)
d. Analyze & map timely balance between supplier capacity and market dynamics
e. Manage procurement processes and drive for continuous improvements (savings, contract coverage, and buying channels, etc.) with adaption
of Supplier Rating methodology (QLTCS) to allocate business fairly

3. Stakeholder Management
a. Interface with local business stakeholders involve in both global and local spends, as well as other supporting functions like Finance and Legal.
b. Hold both regional and global roles to connect to Asia Regional Head, NPR Global Sr. Management and Taiwan Management Team
c. Buddy with NPR Peers in Asia, US, and NL Confidential

4. Improvement Roadmap to upgrade NPR Taiwan into next phase
a. Actively participate Global Improvement Roadmap Projects
b. Offer good initiatives on both global and local spends

Education and experience

You have a Bachelor or Master-degree in a relevant area (e.g. Business Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, combined with Procurement related courses)

You have at least 8 years of work experience in a professional, global, complex matrix, and multi-cultural environment.
