Role and responsibilities

As Proto Integrator – Cross site you are responsible to align, plan and prepare integration tests together with D&E projects and other internal stakeholders, e.g.your team of engineers for the system at IMEC (Leuven-BE). Your base of operation is in Veldhoven close to the program management and D&E projects, regular travel to the team of engineers at IMEC is expected.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your assigned system in perfect state, i.e., hardware, software, and configuration up to date
  • Focus on preparation due to non-standard interfaces and way of working due to environment at customer (availability of sequences, resources, materials and tooling, adjustments for the local wow, etc.)
  • Ensure efficient and effective integration activities, by:
    - Providing a planning, preparation and execution of tests and upgrades
    - Escalating in case problems that cannot be solved by yourself or your team
    - Providing assistance to Proto Engineers regarding planning and progress
    - Providing the MIT with upcoming changes in a timely manner
    - Aligning with D&E projects on executability and timing regarding test plans
  • Determine whether issues are related to new design or proto system and report issues towards the corresponding projects
  • Encourage a safe working environment and work according 5S principles

Education and experience

Technical Bachelor (BsC/BEng) or Master (MSc) degree. Preferred fields of study: Physics, Electrical Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering.

There are minimal constraintson working experience. The following items are a plus:

  • Experience in a multi-disciplined workenvironment
  • Affinity with planning
  • Working with complex systems

Other information

The Proto Integrator – Cross site will work from Monday through Friday during regular office hours.

Regular travel to IMEC (Leuven-BE), ~25%, costs of travel, stay will be reimbursed together with daily allowances applicable for the region.

Candidates need to commit for at least three years.

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
