We are looking for a Software Engineer with a brilliant mind who loves designing C++, Python and Java Software modules using a Linux/Unix environment.

Role and responsibilities

Your mission is to deliver high quality modular software components and applications in C++, Python and Java to improve our Brion products.You will be responsible for creating clear specifications on requirements, making a high-quality software design and to 'make it happen' by also implementing the design and verify and test the implementation. You will work on existing software modules and new software components in existing systems. You will work in close collaboration with peers in your local team as well as remote teams (US) and will communicate details about the software design, implementation and issues effectively and in an efficient way.

Education and experience

  • Master (MSc) in Computer Science, or in relevant field with 3+ years of proven track record in software development.
  • Multi-language experience (modern C++, Java, Python).
  • Experience in designing and developing collaborative, complex, multidisciplinary software systems is preferred.
  • Experience with geometric computation or 3D programming is an advantage.
  • Math background is an advantage.
  • Experience using Unix as a development environment.
  • Experience using all-round development tools (Unix Shell, Git, IDEs, etc.).
  • Experience setting up/administering Linux installations is preferred.

You have experience in developing software in an Agile setting, working closely together on design, implementation and tests.You have the ability to adapt to team-based coding style.
