Role and responsibilities
In ASML we currently have a yearly budget process and longer-term financial plan. As our company is growing there is a need to professionalize these financial processes. The improvement projects aim to improve the connections to other business planning processes, like the R&D Long Term Capability Planning (LTCP) and strategic workforce planning. As the improvement leader you will report into Business Insights and Control R&D(BI&C IS&F BC). In addition, you will work very closely with other finance teams, HR and the process team in R&D.
Your main focus will be the improvement of the annual budget and long term financial planning process as well as the coordination of the annual process cycle. You will need to connect with many different stakeholders in the organization to ensure the process. Besides, create reporting to support improvement of the process but also reports on the output of the process to enable decision making.
Education and experience
- Master’s degree or postgraduate title
- 5-10 years of work experience in a complex and multi-disciplinary environment
- Extensive experience with process design, implementation and improvement
- Experience managing projects in a complex stakeholder landscape
- Experience with financial planning processes or similar business processes
- A proven track record of quickly understanding complex content
- Experience in (high) tech environment
