The HR Netherlands and HR Europe teams are responsible for steering and executing the people agendas for the Netherlands and for the countries in Europe* in close alignment with HR Line and Global HR expertise. Purpose of the job
The Talent & Learning Manager – HR NL & EU understands the integrated business talent challenges on country level for Netherlands and Europe. Focus is on overarching development priorities whereas “Run of the mill” capability-building and supply is led by the Academies that are part of the global learning and knowledge management organization. This a matrix role that collaborates on integrated solutions for the countries with the Talent Management Team and Academies connecting, integrating and synchronizing local deployment. The position acts also as learning business partner for more country specific learning & development needs. In Netherlands the position has co-ownership for the ‘Soft Policies’ that are part of our (Integrated) Talent Management Program (e.g. Internal Mobility, Develop & Perform).
Position in the organization
The position is a coordinating and integration position and is a member of the HR NL, HR EU country/region teams and the global Talent & Learning team. The Talent & Learning Manager – HR NL & EU is based in Veldhoven Netherlands and reports to the Head HR NL & EU and functional to the Head of Talent Management and the Head Learning & Knowledge Management.
Areas of responsibility
- Represent NL & EU countries in global programs and support integration with overall planning on all initiatives touching talent management and learning in collaboration with Academy Leads and CoEs
- Consolidating demand / requirements from the country on (I)TM & L&D.
- Define & prioritize local cross-sector T&L topics together with HR Line and Country team.
- Input to global on strategic needs for programs/services requiring ITM and L&D
- Co-ownership for (Integrated) Talent Management ‘soft policies’ in Netherlands & Europe
- Coordination and alignment of ITM program and country specific initiatives (eg sustainable employment / internal mobility)
- Coordinate and execute follow up on NL specific Talent Management processes relative to but not limited to Internal mobility, Performance Appeal, [email protected] (engagement)
- Alignment of (I)TMand Soft policies & process with labor relations if applicable (i.e. Work council)
- Build local competence on a need base.
- Drive Talent Management practice in the country
- Drive country level consolidation/analysis for Talent & Succession.
- Identify need for talent / succession pools, priorities in people plan related to talent management.
- Learning & Development Business Partner for Netherlands and EU (excluding ASML Berlin) with focus on non – sector specific academies / colleges.
- Coordinate & Orchestrate program demand and synchronize deployment in country for topics such as but not limited to well-being, hybrid working solutions, diversity and inclusion.
- Bring T&L knowledge & expertise to country / region the table.
