ASML is growing and Diversity and Inclusion is an important part of that growth. We are looking for a creative and critical thinker with D&I consulting experience to provide strategic support to our business lines. This person can be based out of San Diego CA, San Jose CA, Wilton CT, Hillsboro, OR or Chandler, AZ. As a D&I Business Partner, you will partner directly with line human resource leaders and business leaders to help them better understand their systems, and processes and work towards more diverse and inclusive teams. As part of the D&I team for US, this multi-faceted role will partner internally across various functions of the organization to develop, manage, and implement measurable, high-impact projects and initiatives from the ground up, focused on D&I that are designed to build talent and increase the pipeline.

Role and responsibilities

  • Drive US D&I Initiatives. Under the direction and guidance of the Chief Diversity Officer, partner with senior managers in the business and HR to assess the gaps and establish initiatives to move the needle on our D&I maturity level.
  • Advise on people processes and policies. Consult on opportunities related to hiring, performance management, promotion, other people processes and D&I best practices.
  • Partner with the human resources centers of expertise (i.e, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, etc.) on complementary initiatives that positively impact the employee experience, build the business and strengthen the bench of talent.
  • Design programs and develop D&I strategies.
  • Design and tailor programs and strategic plans in response to findings and business needs in collaboration with HR Business Partners.
  • Manage projects, and lead D&I activities/programs for business lines.
  • Manage business line specific or US-wide D&I projects.
  • Present and discuss data insights with an executive audience. ASML uses both quantitative and qualitative data to inform our D&I efforts.
  • This role will use available data to share effective and impactful information and help shape initiatives and programs.
  • Conduct D&I workshops/learning sessions.
  • Facilitate workshops and learning sessions on D&I and related people processes.
  • Manage Affirmative Action Plan. Work with counsel on plan design, submission and monitoring.
  • Oversight of project team responsible for AAP actions.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Master’s degree or Diversity/Inclusion Certification a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Minimum of 3 in an HR role with heavy emphasis on D&I and/or consulting.
  • Experience with Workday a plus.
  • Experience managing and implementing organization-wide projects.
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation.

  • Ability to work with many cross-functional internal and external partners, in a matrix environment with a high sense of urgency.

The California base annual salary/hourly range for this role is currently $106,125.00-$176,875.00. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members. Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.
