Are you an Agile Team Coach and are ready to a pivotal role in our (scaled) Agile transformation environment?
As we are currently transforming into a SAFe organization, we always encounter challenges. As our coach you will ensure that our teams understand and follow our guidelines and guardrails within the framework of ASML related to our (scaled) Agile way of working. By facilitating workshops on related topics and coaching of individuals and teams you will be closely involved in the further improvement of our transformation.

This role is situated in the domain of Machine Conditioning. Machine Conditioning develops groundbreaking conditioning solutions to make ASML machines cleaner, greener and more precise within the most inspiring work environment. We invent, design, integrate, qualify and industrialize conditioning solutions in the area of thermal-, fluid-, vacuum- and contamination control. Our teams are a mixture of young talent and senior specialists with a strong focus on delivering business value for our stakeholders.

In this role you will be part of the LACE team (Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence). This is a team of Agile Coaches and RTEs supporting the Machine Conditioning cluster in their (scaled) Agile transformation.

Role and responsibilities

This role is erected on three pillars:

  • Creating an environment for teams and individuals to be able to continuously improve the (scaled) Agile way of working
  • Training and coaching and ensuring the embedding of Jira within the Agile Release Trains (ART)
  • Having a strong focus on continuous improvement within the ARTs.

As an Agile Team Coach you inspire and facilitate continuous improvement of the (scaled) Agile way of working for the Machine Conditioning teams with special attention on embedding Jira in the ARTs. This application of the Atlassian stack has no secrets for you. We are looking for an Agile Team Coach who knows Jira (Align) inside out. You are a team coach who can:

  • Explain to teams how Jira works and explain best practices.
  • Adjust to different contexts and embed knowledge accordingly.
  • Someone who can train and coach key users and deliver hands on support concerning Jira in the ARTs

Besides Agile coaching on team level you will focus on coaching, training the use and best practices regarding the use of Jira within our cluster. Your goal is to create a self-sustaining Jira knowledge base and WOW that is congruent in the whole cluster.

Education and experience

Education:

Master's degree in engineering/ Technical Studies/ Sciences

Experience:

  • 10 years+ experience in being team coach, lead and being expert on transformation, project management and change mgmt expertise
  • 3 years or more Agile Coaching experience in Non-IT environment only.
  • 5 years or more experience in an international and (scaled) Agile environment
  • Hands-on JIRA experience in multiple (hi-tech) companies (superuser JIRA or JIRA savviness is a must)
  • SAFe certified
