The Development & Engineering (D&E) Safety & Compliance department, as part of the D&E Quality & Continuous Improvement Cluster, is responsible for supporting Global Product Safety & Compliance, Procedure Safety and Environmental Health & Safety at D&E. The D&E business function is responsible for process and product development within ASML and is mainly located in Veldhoven, Wilton and San Diego (US) and consists of approximately 12.000 employees.
Within D&E Safety & Compliance, we facilitate & ensure that ASML is developing products that comply to regulations and customer requirements. As part of our drive to ‘future-proof’ our products, ASML aims to comply with legislation on product safety. Driven by D&E objectives, a mature safety cultural awareness is required to achieve this.
Role and responsibilities
For the role Expertise Manager Safety Culture and Awareness we are looking for a candidate that helps us to grow on maturity levels of the Bradley curve.
The safety culture & awareness, also on global scale, is being developed towards an independent and in some organizational clusters to a dependent level. Your role is to successfully and pro-actively drive the safety culture and awareness to a next level by supporting the managers and employees in the different cluster organizations
Key Activities:
- Contribute to safety culture & awareness mission, vision and strategy
- Develop a 3-5 years direction and roadmap for safety culture & awareness D&E (hein program, DuPont cultural maturity program)
- Safety awareness content development (take-over from co-developer)
- Development of a global communications plan
- Global deployment and data analysis
- Self-assessments at D&E cluster- and department level
- The Expertise Manager Safety Culture and Awareness directly reports to the Manager D&E Human Safety in Design within the D&E Safety & Compliance department / part of the D&E Quality & Continuous Improvement Cluster.
- Alignments and functional reports to the Global program manager of the Safety Culture and awareness program.
Education and experience
- Master degree in Psychology, Health and/or Safety
- Cultural change knowledge and experience preferable in Safety awareness
- Change management and trainer skills
- Experience in people and project management;
- 8 -10 years of experience a in a technical engineering environment
