Introduction

Background information

Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and implementation of the ASML products. In this sector, the department Software Quality & Integration (SW SQI) integrates and qualifies the various software systems into a software release.

Within SQI, Release Management team's vision is to have the value and quality creation of software packages. Our mission is to deliver qualified software to customer to meet their expectations.

Your assignment

We require a capable intern who is willing to learn about ASML’s Software (SW) planning, integration, and release processes. On top, the person should create a model of this SW process flow and translate this into a software implementation that will be deployed and used to facilitate these SW processes.

The main goals of the resulting SW solution: Simplify daily work of a SW Project Manager, SW Integrators, and related stakeholders, through automation and tooling support for these processes.

Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship you:

  • Have educational background in software engineering, data science, computer science or any related field;
  • Make use of new environments like Cloud, github, etc.;
  • Have programming, data modelling and debugging skills like Python, Django or similar;
  • Have Database knowledge (MySQL added value), Data structures, algorithms;
  • Are open minded, positive and growth mindset;
  • Are fun, loving and energetic;

This is a Bachelor/Master assignment which is both suitable for graduation and apprentice internship with a duration of 6 months, 3-5 days per week. The start date is August/September 2023.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship.

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
