Introduction

Background information


The department you're joining is responsible for projecting theimage on reticle to the silicon wafer. An important part of what makes ASMLmachines cutting edge is its imaging capability to make chips smaller, fasterand cheaper. Your future team writes software that controls the projectionoptics box.

Your assignment


Youwill develop function level tests that qualifies the software without the need for real hardware. Thefunction level tester shall emulate the production sequence with software inisolation. The tests shall include stress testing the software at itsboundaries.

Your tasks include understanding the usage of the driver software inproduction sequence, develop tests with function as the system under test,extend existing software simulators or create new ones when necessary anddocument it.

Your profile


To be the perfect match for this internship you:

  • Have an educational background in software engineering, computer science or any related field;
  • Have experience with Python, C++ and Git;
  • Have knowledge on standard test frameworks, preferably some background knowledge on test automation methods and test automation framework such as Robot test framework;
  • Good communication skills;

This is a bachelor apprentice internship lasting 4+ months, 5 days per week starting in September.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship.

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
