Introduction to the job

As the Supply Planning Product Owner you are the business partner for supply chain planning that connects with the Agile solutions team.
Within this role, you are the business representative for the products and services that the DevOps team delivers. You contribute to defining, and to guard the product vision.
Your team delivers process maturity and tooling improvements that enables ASML to increase its supply chain performance. Together with your stakeholders in business and IT, you help to define the strategy and product roadmap for planning. Within the SAFe Agile framework, you ensure that solutions are delivered through quarterly increments and bi-weekly sprints.

Role and responsibilities

The Supply Chain Planning Product Owner leads the agile Supply Chain Planning scrum team, and is responsible for developing the new planning solutions for supply chain planning and the operational support on these solutions.
With the DevOps team, you deliver high quality processes and tools, based on an agreed planning improvement roadmap.
The main focus area of your job is the tactical planning layer (integrated business planning / S&OP), but you also contribute to the integration with other domains such as operational planning and buffer management.
You are closely connected to the business, and are actively engaged with the delegate business owners in planning. As the Product Owner, you will be functionality responsible for the solution which means that you:
- Define the product vision by research and analysis of the market and stakeholders requirements and develop the roadmap for the product, align with stakeholders, and ensure execution.
- Align planning processes and methods x-sector, with interfaces across SCM and Operations
- Build an active relationship with your stakeholders, to understand business needs and plan the work based on business priorities.
- Maintain the team’s backlog, set priorities for the team in line with business expectations.
- Actively participate in the relevant Agile/scrum rituals
- Pro-actively look for potential improvements and prepare these for evaluation by the team

Education and experience

Master’s degree, preferably in supply chain management or industrial engineering.
- 5-7 years relevant work experiences within supply chain management
- Experience with SAP ECC/APO/IBP and/or advanced planning solutions.
- Experience in planning processes in a high tech low-volume environment
- Experience as Product Owner in an agile environment is a pre
