Introduction to the job
ASML steep volume ramp up and fast market introduction of newest technologies requires suppliers to be ready to follow ASML plans. Reliable delivery performance, high quality parts and modules, concurrent engineering to support timely new product introduction, requires close collaboration and full transparency on the capability and performance of suppliers. The main objective of this role is to manage and oversee all global activities of the supplier in relation to ASML and our eco system. Align ASML global ambition with supplier capability, identify improvement needs, secure execution of agreed improvement plans.
This position may be located in any of the three locations: Wilton, CT, San Jose, CA or San Diego, CA. This position often requires onsite presence to attend in-person meetings, work-related events and trainings to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week working from home).
Role and responsibilities
- Build and lead relationships with the supplier account, develop the supplier account across its lifecycle.
- Act as first point of contact for the supplier and ASML internally (program and operational sectors), orchestrate an aligned voice towards suppliers.
- Manage spend at supplier, execute CoG target setting of BLs, involve supplier in early stages of NPI, close NPI contracts including CoG roadmaps.
- Chair Supplier Account Team (SAT) or oversee multiple SATs depending on supplier and lead supplier strategy, give input to SPFT for category strategy.
- Prepare & perform commercial contract negotiations and deal making.
- Request support of CoEs; involve the right people act where necessary and ensure the required handshakes are in place.
- Track and formalize (long-term) supplier performance.
- Accountable for full Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost, Sustainability supplier Performance, realization of commercial goals.
- Accountable for material shortage escalations to resolution.
- Travel up to 50% of the time based on business needs.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering or Logistics or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of work experience in supplier management operations and supply chain.
- Proven line management track record in high tech, automotive, aerospace, process industry or equivalent.
- Operational Management of Supply chain and/or manufacturing functions.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and constraints, product life cycle/ market dynamics, and category cluster’s specific requirements.
- Experience in building and maintaining strategic relations with suppliers.

Other information
The California base annual salary/hourly range for this role is currently $209,250 - $320.850. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
