Background information
Embedded Software Common & DUV Department delivers integrated embedded software solutions that support the business success of ASML. The wafer stage (WS) and reticle stage (RS) of the TWINSCAN machines must be moved with high speeds and extreme accuracy. Stage Positioning Measurement (SPM) is part of the stage control systems, measuring the stages in 6 dimensions with sub-nanometer resolution at 20-40 kHz.
Complicated changes are qualified on an actual machine using various kinds of Patches which are not based on the main-line changes. Hence it is required to backport certain commits to a different branch. The goal is to automate the creation of such Patches.
Your assignment
These are the concrete activities for this assignment:
- Familiarize with ASML Patch way of working,
- Determine the typical use-cases of Patch creation for a developer,
- Create a Github Action which automates most part of these use-cases of Patch creation and qualification for a developer.
- Design a simple user-interface to cover all the use-cases
- Generalize the Github Action so that it can be used by all ASML developers.
- Integrate to existing JIRA dashboards
Your profile
To be the perfect match for this internship you:
- Have Integration Experience
- Have experience with Github actions, Scripting (Python), Automation and JIRA
- Have the ability to work independently.
- Are passionate about Automation and Continuous Integration
This is a Bachelor apprentice internship with a duration of 6 months, 5 days per week. The start date is May 2023.
Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship.
This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
