Software Engineering Internship: Full Stack Developer

Background information

The principles of software engineering, automation and data analysis are extremely important to understand and enable the decision making in ASML software organization. It would help the software management to structurally solve the issues, deploy the preventive measures and make effective decisions.

Do you want to apply software engineering techniques to support the ASML software organization for further decision making and upstreaming the technical solutions ? Do you get excited to automate things around you to bring the efficiency at wider scale?

Your mission will be:

• to translate the requirements into code.
• to work together with your Lead/Mentor and the stakeholders.
• to develop insightful metrics, dashboards, reports and insights for the business leadership.
• to automate day to day manual activities within team/projects to improve efficiency and upstream the technical solutions.

Your assignment

During this assignment, you will:

• be responsible for creating clear data structures and sources, making theefficient choices by keeping a critical eye on the code quality but alwayshaving the overall architecture as guideline;
• design, analyze, document and test the required softwarespecifications;
• use databases, scripting languages, object-oriented design &programming methodologies within a highly complex environment;

Your profile

To be the perfect match for the internship, you:

• are a student in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field;
• have knowledge in Java, MySQL, Spring Framework, HTML, CSS and Javascript;
• have good communication and problem solving skills;

This is a bachelor/master assignment which is suitable for both apprentice and graduation internship with a minimum duration of 6-12 months, 3-5 days per week, starting as soon as possible.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
