The products of ASML’s Applications Business Line products are critical elements in high end semiconductor manufacturing processes. They build on the capabilities of our world renowned scanners, using them as an actuator to correct distortions caused by other process steps.
Within Digital Platform Solution (DPS) software products provide our customers with the means to optimize and control their manufacturing processes. Our software brings huge benefits to our customers and the use of our products is increasing fast. A team of over 400 software developers works together with application engineers, process experts and support specialists to develop our unique market leading applications. Development is largely done in Java and our applications run in a Linux environment on a local server.
In order to meet the delivery requirements of our customer, we have a Continuous Integration process that we continuously improve upon.
Our development organization uses Scrum/agile/SAFe.
Role and responsibilities
You will be part of the Quality & Integration team (Q&I). Q&I is responsible for the integration of the deliverables from over 40 development teams into software packages (release/patch) and testing the package at system level before releasing to ASML customers for beta test. Your mission is to setup and maintain solution integration organization according to ASML Performance and integration policy by:
- Extending the organization with the end-2-end qualification
- Definition and realization of the test and integration strategy and roadmap competence and quality aspects that become relevant for the next solutions.
- Initiating new quality aspects such as (data) security and compliances for application development
- Arranging the customer use cases on fab level and able to determine upgrade paths and integration steps to roll out safely new software releases and solutions.
- Translate the complex changes into risks with an affordable test infrastructure and tooling on time.
- Interface with multiple products with the sectors SE and CS to assist addressing new solution introduction
- Interface with development teams to assist in integration and verification of new software releases
- Regular report on the overarching progress of the SI-02 (solution integration) and signal pro-actively
Determine test and integration strategy to successfully and consistently enable delivery of high-quality software products and services on time and to specification. Align with Integration architects/leads, Product Architects and Developers in terms of integration. Maintain a customer’s point-of-view integration view. Closely cooperate with the product teams on integration the product end-to-end (progression and regression).
Education and experience
- Master, computer sciences, software engineering, software testing e.g. ISTQB.
- Experience in creating Test & Integration strategies for ASML products
