Main Deliverable Owner Yieldstar

Introduction to the job

YieldStar is an ASML product line providing key semiconductor customers with optical metrology solutions to measure the quality of patterns on the wafers. As a Main Deliverable Owner Mechanical Layout, you drive a major deliverable as part of the larger Yieldstar project management organization.

This position is part of Mechanical Development, and you will lead a team of Mechanical (lead) designers and architect(s) focusing on Mechanical Layout and Mechanical Constructions of Yieldstar. You will report to the Project Leader for delegated tasks and planning of deliverables.

Your scope will have End to End scope for the major deliverable, including design, engineering, integration and industrialization. You will work with stakeholders and team members towards a joint success.

Role and responsibilities

• Drive Yieldstar mechanical layout deliverables to results.
• Cooperate with suppliers or farmout partners on quality, lead time, costs.
• Operate in an international environment with global supply chain.
• Manage product cost of goods and project budget.
• Creates, manages and executes team plan/planning.
• Clear and transparent communication of status and results.
• Work closely with multiple teams and other Main Deliverable Owners / Team Leads.
• Early supplier involvement in order to secure manufacturability and cost.

Education and experience

Technical University, PhD, MSc or BSc in mechanical/mechatronics engineering or similar background.

• 3+ years of relevant working experience; leading project teams in a high-tech machine building environment’
  Preferably experience in or knowledge of concurrent engineering.
