Are you an experienced leader of a multi-functional technical team? Do you enjoy teamwork, leading with vision and solving problems using creative thinking? If so you will enjoy the Product Owner position at ASML DE Source Laser. Within ASML the Sector Development & Engineering (DE) is responsible for the planning, development and delivery of integrated solutions that meet business requirements. The source laser is a key system in EUV light generation for the cutting edge lithography systems, and the development strives for continues increase in power to enable customer ambitions.

Role and responsibilities

As a Product Owner, you will work with your multi-disciplinary scrum team specialized in optics and mechanics to deliver qualified hardware solutions in cooperation with co-developers and suppliers. Key deliverables contain:

  • End2end ownership of teamdeliverables
  • Balances ASML priorities atteam level: (system) function roadmap, program deliverables, architecture,factory and field feedback
  • Creates long term plan inclestimate to completion for his team and aligns it with Solution Owners
  • Manages (multidisciplinary)team deliverables, risks, dependencies (in- and outside the ART), x-sectordeliverables, co-developers and suppliers (delivery, time, cost),stakeholders and escalations
  • Manages triple constraint
  • Communicates and sets thepriorities of the team backlog and ensure the scrum team understands whyit is important for ASML
  • Cooperates with the ScrumMaster to drive the team towards results and identify team improvements
  • Teams up with other (Chief)Product Owners to align on priorities of the Agile Release Train (ART) andteam backlog
  • Prepares the team backlog forthe upcoming sprint and ensures its properly prioritized for the nextiteration
  • Facilitates the evaluation andacceptance of the sprint deliverables and chairs sprint demonstrations
  • Works with the Chief ProductOwner to understand priorities for the next Program Increment (PI),prepares the team backlog for
  • PI planning and breaks down the larger workitems into small ones
  • Ensures that backlog items haverequirements, acceptance criteria and ensures that the team understandsthem

Education and experience

  • Technical Masters or Bachelor degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a development and engineering organization, with proven track record in managing multiple technical disciplines towards delivering qualified hardware

Preferences:

  • Background in (laser) optics
  • Experience in ASML D&E
  • Experience with (Scaled) Agile methodology
