Introduction

Background information

As part of the Legal & Compliance department of ASML, you will be a member of the CoE Product Regulatory, which cooperates in close connection with the Global Quality and the Global Product Safety & Regulatory teams. ASML develops and manufactures highly innovative systems with full focus and energy on technology, supported by regulatory requirements and standards. The CoE Product Regulatory team provide legal advice to minimize risks on business disruption caused by growing number of local and global regulations, which become more complex and more tightly enforced. Our goal is to provide top-notch legal guidance and proactively engage in the regulatory landscape to ensure ASML delivers safe and compliant products to the market.

Your assignment

As an intern at the CoE Product Regulatory, we will offer you the possibility to gain insight of the work of a Product Regulatory lawyer by involving you in various topics and activities that are running. Your assignment includes, but is not limited to, conducting legal research on new regulations and proposals, drafting briefing memos, assisting line manager on strategic roadmap for compliance with emerging regulations ( ex: assist in scanning document on applicability, get insight in liability cases, etc.).

Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a bachelor or master student in the Legal / Law domain;
  • Have an affinity with the compliance and regulatory worlds;
  • Have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

This is an apprentice internship to gain work experience, with a minimum duration of 6 months, 2 -3 days per week (flexible). The start date is as soon as possible.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
