Within ASML, the sector Development and Engineering is responsible for the specification, design, integration, qualification, and sustaining of all ASML products.

Role and responsibilities

In a dedicated team consisting of software integrators and testers you will integrate, test and deliver the software that plays a pivotal role in realizing the core functionality of our high end EUV machines. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, involving Software, Physics and Mechatronics. You will interact with colleagues in Development and Engineering but also with customer support and factory departments.

As a software Integratoryou will validate and integrate SW solutions that increase the capabilities of our machines or that enable a new line of machines.
You also support long term development by taking responsibility for the definition and execution of the SW technology roadmap.

You will:

  • Check project deliveries from project teams for completeness;
  • integrate the software deliveries into assemblies;
  • qualify the assembly against a production release;
  • manage the software archive and it’s layout;
  • develop and optimize integration processes and tools;
  • support developers with questions about integration tools or processes.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Embedded Systems or equivalent.
  • Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience in large-scale software applications - embedded programming experience is preferred.
  • Must Have: Clearcase, SVN, Git, Jenkins experience
  • C, C++, Python, Linux Experience
  • UML, OOP, Design Patterns knowledge is an advantage
  • Agile, Scrum, V-Model
  • Familiar with Risk Management, Risk Assessment
  • Test experience on system/assembly level
  • Scripting knowledge(e.g. Python, shell) is a pre for (test) automation.
  • Knowledgeable with testing and integration methodologies

This position is available in the Dose Control group, that is part of the Embedded SW EUV department of ASML's business function Development & Engineering – Software.

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations.
