In this role, the task is to lead and inspire a (natural) team consisting of different competencies, assuring cooperation within and between FAB Execution and other ASML/TF/FAB relevant departments.
Role and responsibilities
In a team leader position, it is your responsibility is to lead a diverse group of 14/15 talented engineers that work towards a common goal within one of our manufacturing departments.
You will focus on managing the production process and realize the planned targets and objectives in terms of e.g. customer satisfaction, delivery, quality and efficiency/costs. Additionally, you will lead organizational change by supporting the implementation of the Lean principles. An integral part of this task is the initiation/roll out of structural improvement projects.
Your job will consist of:
- People management, including selection, development, goal setting and performance management. Ensure overall high level of engagement
- Enable self-supporting natural teams (consisting of hierarchical and non-hierarchical engineers)
- Ensure team members are trained and follow the standard ASML business processes, quality standards, safety standards and processes according to the ASML policies
- Keep day to day and long term resource planning in line with demand, following market dynamics and RFF
- Execution progress and output including service orders
- Secure daily work center execution ensuring all resources required are present, priority setting and by driving problem solving.
- Ensure Operational Excellence manufacturing by efficiently making use of resources and focusing on customer needs
- Leading the change by executing the implementation of the Lean transformation roadmap
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI’s) and process stabilization
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and interfaces effectively (interdepartmental and cross-sector)
- Stimulate effective and efficient collaboration with other FAB departments and internally TF between LAB FAB and Shared Services
Education and experience
We are looking for candidates with a bachelor or master degree with at least 2/3 years of leadership experience. Additionally, you have a good understanding of ASML business needs and can use your operations management experience to your advantage. Lastly, you possess excellent communicational abilities and you are fluent in English.

Other information
This role will be in a 2-shift schedule. This means you work from Monday to Friday from 06:30 – 15:30 or from 15:00 – 00:00. 1 fixed day off per week. You also work one weekend a month from 07:00 – 16:00.
