Introduction to the job
Responsible for leading a combined teams of supplier auditors, supplier quality program leaders, and supplier-factory project leaders.Team includes 7 to 10 individual contributors of functional expertise of supplier quality, audit, lean, continuous improvement, and factory operations.
Role and responsibilities
To drive continuous improvement of supplier quality and supplier capabilities in Asia
To lead supplier audit team, to identify supplier improvement areas and drive timely closure and continuous improvement
To identify, plan and execute Hoshin Kanri strategic improvement projects, linking to ASML factories in Asia and ASML headquarter in Veldhoven
To collaborate with other departments within Sourcing & Supply Chain sector and with Factories in Asia, US and Europe
Newly created position, to increase leadership bandwidth, drive supplier continuous improvement, faster respond to factories and headquarter requirements.
Reporting to Head of Sourcing & Supply Chain Asia
Travel frequency 25% (international, mainly Asia), plus 25% (within Taiwan)
Education and experience
> 15 year work experience, preferably in major international company, especially in semiconductor equipment, aerospace, medical or other business-to-business industries
> 5 year people management experience, with team size > 5 direct report
> 5 year project management experience, proven track record of driving and leading complex cross-department projects from project initiation, planning, execution to results
Experience of working in matrix organization, local and global is preferred.
Lean or Six Sigma is preferred
MBA from US or Europe, with engineering, manufacturing, operations or quality background is preferred
