In the position of Junior Group Leader SPM Industrialization, you are leading a group of 7 industrialization engineers who take ownership for the industrialization of SPM in ASML’s lithographic products. You are the line manager of the team responsible for setting targets, coaching, career development and appraisal.

In the position of Scrum Master, you are driving the same team to higher levels of performance in collaboration with the Product Owner of the team.

Both roles are taking about 50% of your time.

Role and responsibilities

Job Description GL

As GL, you are part of the staff of the SPM department, you will manage the industrialization group. You are responsible for industrialization deliverables such as development of work center setup, sequence, and manufacturing and service procedures for SPM within the boundaries imposed by process and planning. You pro-actively drive the development work in your team and participate in reviewing deliverables. But above all, you will use your leadership and teamwork skills to solve problems and optimize team performance.

-Manage resources (7 people) in a group (targets, coaching, career development, performance review)
-Taking the helm in the conceptual stages of a project. Allocate people to projects in line with program needs.
-Manage the delivery in your group that meet the requirements of the ASML development programs. Review solutions proposed,technical product documentation produced by the group and coaching of group members.
-Interaction with project leaders on technical content and allocationof people to projects. Review project plans and proactivelysupportproject realization.
-Work with co-developers to enable and manage development projects on site at ASML or at co-developer sites.
-Define and implement the competence roadmap for your group.

Job description Scrum master

As scrum master, you lead the industrialization team in our Agile Release Train and drive it towards a high performing team. You interface with scrum masters of other teams and our RTE to address dependencies and impediments.

-Ensure delivery of solutions to achieve objectives committed by the team
-Ensure that risks & impediments are solved by the team or properly escalated
-Provide insights and transparency on team maturity, predictability, progress and secure quality of the value delivered
-Ensure that the team relentlessly improves on ASML processes and way of working, e.g.: ASML product generation process,documentationguidelines, lean and agile mindset and principles.
-Facilitate the team rituals and contribute to the rituals of theagile release train.
-Enable a High Performing Team

Education and experience

-Education: university, Master in Physics (optics), Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
-3 to 7 years experience in a multidisciplinary development and engineering environment
-At least 5 years of experience in developing, integrating and testing complex multi-disciplinary products.
-Solid theoretical and experimental experience in the discipline.
-Experience in managing a group of technical professionals.
-Affinity with managing integral business processes in fast growing and dynamic business environments.

Within the D&E sector, the SPM department is responsible for the definition, realization and qualification of key position measurement functions and modules.
