Job description

You have a solid understanding of what drives employee engagement and a proven track record of aligning communications strategy to people vision and strategy. You will have a seat at the table with our global HR management team and advise and support them on various initiatives and projects to ensure effective communication to internal stakeholders, focusing on employees and leaders, and the HR community.

You demonstrate the ability to understand business goals and translate them into communications goals, creating strategic, outcomes-focused, measurable communications plans. You advise your stakeholders on the right communication approach and channels, and you know how to tell stories that inspire and engage.

You advise, coach and train the HR community in their communication activities to inform, engage and activate leaders, managers and employees. You work closely with the HR Portfolio team, People Services and change leads of the various projects and initiatives to ensure consistent and aligned communications across HR, bringing the people strategy to live. You drive the forward looking HR communications planning and embed and align communication activities into other business processes like the strategy cascading.

With all of this, you keep your focus on what’s really valuable and is likely to have an impact. You prioritize.

Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field.


8+ years relevant experience in internal communications.


You will be part of a large, diverse communications team with a variety of backgrounds and nationalities, offering inspiration and opportunities to develop yourself. Communications at ASML covers corporate communications, employer branding and recruitment marketing as well as internal communications.

ASML’s internal communications team is structured in several groups that support different business lines or units, plus a channel management team. This position is part of the group that supports the Corporate Functions like HR, IT, Finance, ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), Corporate Real Estate, Legal & Compliance, etc. The team also contributes to company-wide communications initiatives and major internal events.
