As Business Performance Expertise manager, you will drive the definition of and adherence to global manufacturing performance management processes and standards, enabling business leaders to manage operational performance and facilitating the ASML business priorities deployment.

The Business Performance Expertise Manager reports to the head of Global Manufacturing Safety and Operational Excellence . The department represents the voice of internal and external customers within ASML Global Manufacturing and focuses on Operational Excellence improvement by e.g. standardizing tools and processes, deploying Best Known Methods (BKMs) in the organization

Role and responsibilities

Role and responsibilities

- Take ownership for the development and execution of performance management processes and standards that we use to support the Global Manufacturing Staff, driving performance improvements in the network of factories. Assuring timely and correct reporting.
- Facilitate and improve the yearly cross factory target setting process and assure that the agreed targets are aligned with ASML and Manufacturing strategic goals. Hereby you cooperate closely with the finance teams.
- Make and support step ups in performance management maturity as part of Operational Excellence on the topics of (daily) performance management, strategy deployment, improvement management and resource management.
- Lead the competence center chapter for performance management
- Define and execute Performance management improvement projects and support the successful adoption of the solution(s) (process, capability) and organizational change
- Secure quality, value and business embedding of Business performance management improvements
- Provide process descriptions, training materials and provide training and coaching
- Cooperate with the data analytics and insights team to further automate KPI and pareto reporting
- Act as key-user for Performance management towards IT and end-users (e.g.: in incident management processes, defining platform requirement)
- Support the Global Manufacturing Safety and Operational Excellence department with project and activities on related topics to reach department goals

Areas of work
- You will work with stakeholders at different levels in the ASML organization with a focus on the ASML factories worldwide
- You will cooperate intensively with performance managers in the factories, the Operations performance manager and the Operations Excellence community to get to a standardized framework and execute the performance management cycle activities.

Education and experience

- The business Performance Expertise Manager has a proven track record in the role of performance manager, in a (preferably technical) manufacturing environment, and has a master degree.
- Has experience in working on business process improvement projects in a technical discrete industry environment (preferably has ASML knowledge/experience)
- Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong knowledge of Operational Excellence.
- Experience with stakeholder management and building relations in a complex organization.
