The Data Analysis Technician will be responsible for releasing and maintaining a Quality Control Database. This position will also be responsible for interacting with other departments such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Support and D + E.
-Responsible for maintaining QC databasewithin the Quality department
-Monitor and report damaged /defective materials (or questionable) to department Supervisor.
-Participate in area Job HazardAnalysis, if required
-Responsible for releasing materialto the Fabrication floor with accurate documents
-Maintain the work area andequipment in a clean and orderly condition
-Adhere to all safety regulationsand make recommendations.
-Work well in a team a setting
-Work with incoming material inalignment with Customer/Supplier information
-Skilled in Excel, Word, Power Point and SAP a plus
High School Diploma required or Business degree preferred (AS, BA, or BS)
-General computer proficiency
-SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word a plus
-Strong interpersonal skills to deal with people at all levels within the organization and outside.
-Strong organizational skills and detailed record keeping.
-Ability to pay close attention to detail, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
-Self-motivated with the ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
Context of the position
-Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, solvents and tooling.
-May also be exposed to laser energy, magnetic fields.
-Typically handles parts that could weigh up to 35 pounds.
-Will be required to stand, sit, kneel and bend to load and unload the surfaces of the machine tools.
-Production areas are maintained at 70 to 72 degrees.
-The noise level in the manufacturing areas is usually moderate.
-Occasional travel may be required.
