Introduction to the job

ASML acquired former Berliner Glas Group (1.600 people) in November 2020 and with that acquisition combined the unique technology and capabilities of Berliner Glas Group and ASML's scale, both in R&D (Research & Development) and manufacturing.

Double Digit growth is expected in Berlin in the coming years. In addition, the goal is to integrate ASML Berlin HR processes into Global HR way of working. Since the acquisition, a local Talent Acquisition organization is set-up to deliver against growth and drive TA integration projects.

Reporting into the Head of TA Berlin, you will be part of the Berlin TA team, responsible for the mid and long-term strategy of attracting, hiring (and retaining) the best talent in the world, while coordinating the growth of a strong talent pipeline. As a Team Lead you lead our in-house TA delivery team, comprised of TA Advisors, Sourcing Specialists and support colleagues. The objective is to meet the annual TA demand plan. You manage TA plans and resources for the Berlin site.

In addition, the Team Lead - Delivery drives local integration projects to implement Global way of working and identifies and drives continuous improvement activities. You will work closely together with our TA Expertise colleagues, HR line and Employer Branding Communication to develop and execute our winning strategy.

Role and responsibilities

  • Manage the TA Delivery resources and budget for Berlin. Hire, train and develop TA Advisors towards ASML job requirements

  • Steer and challenge performance of TA Delivery Team towards agreed KPI’s and customer expectations

  • Prepare and deliver yearly TA Plan and lead delivery team to perform against hiring demand

  • Coach, mentor and develop TA Advisors towards ASML job requirements, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities

  • Lead by example, be a TA advisor for a limited number of (Sr) roles in your sector

  • Close collaboration with Managers, HR Line and Employer Brand Communications

  • Implement Global Way of Working in the Berlin TA domain

Education and experience

  • You have a master’s degree in HRM or organizational/business studies and at least 8 years of experience in the field of Talent Acquisition

  • You are highly experienced in working in a very dynamic, fast-paced, complex (international) stakeholder field. Preferably in a technical sector in the German labor market

  • You have managerial experience, specifically coaching, development and influencing

  • With your solid base in TA and a mature, independent mindset you can both drive delivery against growth and lead integration projects, as well as be a trusted partner for your HR colleagues

  • You communicate fluently in German & English

  • Ability to analyze and to apply insights to advise and, when necessary, challenge business management to create and roll-out the mid & long-term TA strategy for ASML’s (future) employment needs

  • Ability to effectively & independently prioritize and execute tasks in a pressurized environment and work proactively to ensure targets are met

  • Motivated for a role in challenging environment that is currently in transition
